Quote for Reflection (Sunday, September 20, 2020)

“Healing is not a promise in the New Covenant. A promise is something that has not yet been done. A promise has to do with the future. But healing is something that has already been bought and paid for and is now yours through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. So we should not approach healing in a passive manner, waiting on God to do something. What we must realize is that God has already done something about sickness and disease.” We are not to give in to sickness, but should actively receive and possess by faith the healing that God has already given to us in Christ.
