Quote for Reflection (Sunday, February 2, 2020)

God does not accept us based upon the works, but upon the heart. Quarrelling does nothing, but causes us to appear foolish, because we destroy our witness of love and Christ’s shining light when we appear as one overcome by the very darkness we are striving to avoid. We should never forget that we belong to Christ, and so we are to present ourselves as a living sacrifice to God, in which the lives we live demonstrates a commitment to walking in the way of Christ, in spite of the desires of the flesh.
