Quote for Reflection (Sunday, January 25, 2026)

This feast of the Epiphany celebrates the Light being manifested to all who would respond. The Light also divides our world, and this division will only be resolved when Christ comes in final glory to establish God’s reign once and for all. This feast invites each of us to be among the seekers of the Light who do Christ homage. Our joy is found in the real surprise of the gospel message: we are “members of the same body” (second reading) who are now the light that shines in the darkness. Our own shining fort hastens God’s reign. With such grace, no wonder all we can do is set our hearts rightly, offer homage and gifts, and follow the Light wherever it leads.
