All communicant members of our Diocese are members of the Jamaica Church Missionary Society. The JCMS was founded in 1861. It is the recognised missionary agency of the Diocese. Its mission is to spread the Good News of how God saves the world through Jesus Christ. The JCMS does specific tasks such as: planning evangelistic and teaching missions, training lay leadership for mission and raising funds for missionary work locally and overseas.
