Did You Know? (Sunday, April 18, 2021)

“The resurrection of Jesus is the prelude to the resurrection of those who believe in him, and who are united to him by faith and baptism. It is through the doctrine of resurrection in the New Testament, with its double strain of something already realized and something ‘not yet’ that we approach the doctrine of heaven. Here let the word ‘glory’ guide us in our approach. It is one of the marvelous words in the Bible, for it tells of heaven and the last things, but it also tells of human nature and the first things. God created men and women in His own image in order that they might come to a prefect relationship with their creator.”
