“How we use our God-given time talents is as important as how we use our financial resources. This pertains not only to church, but to every waking hour of our lives. Every minute of every day is given to us by God. Do we use our time intentionally and fruitfully? Do we use it to build up God’s Kingdom? Every moment need not be a productive one. In fact, our busyness can cause us to forget God. Time spent sitting silently with someone in need, slowing down, and praying is time well spent. Sabbath time, a day or other designated time during which we refrain from work, can connect us to God who gives us all we need.”
