Quote for Reflection (Sunday, March 10, 2019)

As we start this new cycle of personal introspection, set in the context of Lent, we must first take a long hard look at the man in the mirror and, with the rigour of total honesty accept that we have sinned, and are in need of His forgiveness; for, “if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8) Happily for us, God is always willing to forgive when we repent of our sinfulness and earnestly ask His forgiveness.
