Did you know? (Sunday, September 28, 2025)
It is instructive to see how, in the New Testament, creation and salvation are so closely associated that salvation is frequently looked upon as a renewal of the original creation. In fact, the salvation of the world which has been begun through the coming of Christ into the world and through the subsequent outpouring of Christ’s Spirit upon all flesh (cf. Acts 2:16-21), and which is still to be brought to its fulfillment in the fullness of time, is simply described as ‘a new creation’ (Gal 6:15).
